Dr. Lisa Nassif Wright is a pediatric and adult neurologist with additional expertise in stroke in the young.
Dr. Nassif Wright did her undergraduate training in the University of Houston, receiving a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. In 2003, she received her four-year medical school degree in the University of Texas Medical Branch, in Galveston, Texas. She then stayed in UTMB for two years of pediatric residency training before transferring to Baylor College of Medicine for neurology/child neurology residency, completing a total of 5 years of residency training in 2008. She became Board Certified in Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology in 2008.
Dr. Nassif Wright practiced for over 10 years as Assistant Professor of Neurology and Pediatrics in Baylor College of Medicine. During that time, she served as the medical director of the pediatric stroke program in Texas Children’s Hospital and was co-chair of the TCH Evidence-Based Pediatric Stroke Guideline committee. She also was the associate director of the child neurology residency program from 2014-2018. Currently, she is Clinical Associate Professor in the University of Texas Medical Branch Department of Neurology and Clinical Associate Professor in the University of Houston School of Medicine Department of Clinical Sciences.
Dr. Nassif Wright has affiliations with UTMB, HCA Clear Lake, HCA Southeast, and CHI St. Luke’s Health Patients Medical Center hospital systems.
